Hi. I am an affiliate of several companies that sell products and services. My question is how do I know if I made any sales? These organizations claim that they attach cookies to visitors that come from my site and if they buy their product/service I get paid. What if i make 10 sales but they only tell me that I made 1? Is there a way to check them? I don't want to get ripped off for my efforts. Is there some kind of tracking device?

Ok, I want to be able to earn a bit of extra cash in my spare time and I've heard a load of hype about affiliate marketing. I've never tried to do anything like this before but am thinking of giving it a go. I've been looking at stuff on the internet to do with this and it all sounds great but is there anyone here who actually does this and makes money? Can anyone give me any hint tips to get started?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!
